A Message From Jeter Knighton

Meet Jeter, the middle triplet, the third child, and the one who has taught our household more in 3 short years than we will teach him in a lifetime. Jeter suffered a traumatic brain injury, an intracranial brain hemorrhage, leading to permanent brain damage causing Periventricular Leukomalacia (PVL). The location of where the hemorrhage occurred also lead to Cortical Visual Impairment, a condition that affects his ability to process what he sees. This year, we have the honor to participate in Laps for Little Ones, a 5K/Fun Run fundraiser that supports Little Light House of Central Mississippi. Your donation helps provide Little Light House with the tools they need to help kids like Jeter hit individual milestones! Jeter has taught our family empathy that cannot be learned through a textbook, and we want to celebrate him BIG :) Thank you for supporting our students and helping them achieve each milestone!

In Support of Little Light House of Central Mississippi
Steeped in a tradition of academic and therapeutic excellence, the Little Light House is a tuition-free Developmental Center that for over three decades has been making a difference in the lives of hundreds of children with special needs. Founded in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the Little Light House opened its first affiliate school in Central Mississippi, in January of 2006. The Little Light House of Central Mississippi is financially and operationally independent of its parent school in Tulsa.
